Personal data and legal basis
We process your documents and the personal data contained therein. This includes your name, your address, your telephone number, your e-mail address and your date of birth. The primary legal basis for this is Article 6(1)(b) GDPR in conjunction with Section 26(1) BDSG.
Processing of personal data
When you apply, you provide us with personal data as part of the application process. This data is divided into the following data types and categories:
- Personal data
First name, surname, date of birth, address, school-leaving qualification - Communication data
Telephone number, cell phone number, email, fax - Applicant photo
- Curriculum vitae
- Data on level of education
School, vocational training, civilian/military service, studies, doctorate - Professional background, training and work references
- Application history
- Details of desired salary
- Data for assessment and evaluation within the application process
Use and disclosure of personal data
The personal data you provide in your application will be used exclusively to process your application for the advertised position. All persons who receive knowledge of your data are involved in the application process. All employees who process your data are bound to confidentiality accordingly. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your consent, unless you have given us your written consent or a court order obliges us to pass it on.
Storage and deletion / inclusion in applicant pool
Your data will be automatically deleted within 6 months of the end of the specific application process. This does not apply if statutory provisions prevent deletion.
If you have consented to longer storage, your data will be stored for the storage period specified in the consent (usually 2 years) and then deleted.
Security
We have taken all necessary technical and organizational security measures to protect your personal data from loss of confidentiality, availability and integrity.
Right to information and objection
You have the right to free information about your personal data and the information listed in Article 15 GDPR at any time. If you have given your consent for your application to be stored for a longer period, you can revoke this at any time without giving reasons.
